This is the beginning up to this point of where I currently am in my ministry. I was born August 7, 1975 to Dean Allen Herron and Vickie Linder Herron. I live in Cookeville, Tn with my wife and two sons. I grew up in a Christian home. As a young boy when I was about five years old, I was prophesied over that I would be a preacher and that God would use me to carry the gospel. As I grew up I played football in school and accomplished a lot and won several awards but my heart was for Jesus. On September 7, 1996, I married Teresa Mai Staggs. She is my partner in life and in this ministry. We have two sons. John Richard Herron, born April 1,2000, and Jesse Allen Herron, born April 9, 2007. My occupations was from The City Of Cookeville Water Department where I fixed leaks and repaired later lines and also from Upper Cumberland Electric Membership where I was a lineman and restored power. I got injured from there and then I was really put to the test in my life. I was saved when I was twelve years old and was baptized in Jesus name. That is how I believe and practice and how I preach that you be baptized. As I got older satan started fighting me and I fell into the devils trap and I backslid. I had been running from the call to preach and I had hit rock bottom in my life. It was a long hard road back home and back to God but with my family’s prayers God never gave up on me and at the age of thirty years old I turned back to him and repented and was baptized. I did my first works over again as the Bible instructs us to do. God forgave me and used what satan tried to use to destroy me and stop me from doing for the Lord and he turned my life around and now I am totally sold out to him. When I answered the call to preach I seriously began studying the word and I sat under other ministers for eight years until God was ready to set me forth. The Lord spoke to my heart at thirty-six years old and told me to get a tent and go preach the gospel. I had been preaching for several years in churches but I stepped out into the evangelism field when I was thirty-eight years old. God had spoke to me and told me to go to West Virginia and visit Bro. R.A. West’s church and be anointed and prayed over. I was laid hands on and prayed for by Bro. Jay West and Bro. Enoch Newsome. God answered their prayers for me quickly and gave me a tent to go and carry the torch and preach the gospel. By accepting this calling God has taken me to several states preaching in churches and in tent meetings. I was ordained when I was forty years old under the R. A. West ministry. In this ministry I have seen people saved and delivered. I have seen people healed from many afflictions including cancer. I have seen people that couldn’t see physically be healed and also people that could not see spiritually also have their eyes opened. I preach that Jesus is God as John 14:9 states and that the kingdom of God is within you as Luke 17:20-21 says. This is what I believe and preach with all my heart. In the beginning of the year 2023 God laid a big task within my heart to build a church at a time when everything is so upside down financially in the world and in this economy. But the Lord spoke to me and said that he would build it. The name of this ministry is The Kingdom Revival Center. The Lord has already allowed me to peek inside the first service and showed me how it would be. I am so excited for what is about to take place. Currently at this moment we are working on getting a place in West Virginia to begin having church meetings maybe once a month for some of my church members that live up there. I thank God for every person that has been a part of this vision that God has given me. You are all so valuable. We are looking forward to having camp meetings and revivals going on continually as we press on to reach lost souls for the kingdom of God.
